I think there has previously been a pocket dump thread, but I figured we might as well just start a new one.  Everyone take a picture of your EDC pocket dumps, list what things are specifically so everyone else can ask questions if they want to.

What do you think of the Surefire E2D LED? I am looking at getting one, so your thoughts and comments would be appreciated :) Nice pic btw!
I'm absolutely in love with it. I never thought I would be one of those guys who carries a flashlight at all times, but my parents gave me the light for my birthday this year, and I haven't stopped carrying it since. I would say that I use it at least as much as my knives, probably more. When I don't have it, I miss it as much as when I don't have a knife on me.
The only consideration I think you should consider is that the bezel on this thing is seriously nasty.

If you're gonna whack an attacker in the head with it (which would be extremely effective in convincing them to leave you alone IMO (not to mention you'll scoop out a great DNA sample for the police)), the bezel is second to none. However, if you're going to carry it in your pocket it IS a little rough on fabric. Mike has the E1B Backup, I know, and I know for office carry he loves it so you could ask him about it.

The Defender is awesome though. Super bright, very useful low setting... When I'm cleaning the 'star chamber' on my AR, the front of the bezel fits perfectly into the back of the upper receiver so I can see what I'm doing... Its uses are endless.

Buy one. You won't regret a penny.

Rock on bro I have an E1L and love it, it is perfect for EDC since it is smaller and the strike bezel really isn't too sharp. I am wanting something brighter and a little larger so this one just looks right. You've convinced me lol PLUS with a 200 lumen output... what more can you want!
Yeah man, its seriously bright..

My photography skills are not on par with yours, but here we go.

-Wallet (A Victim of Spyderco Knives)
-Army Remembrance Coin
-Surefire E1B Backup (110 lumens high, 5 lumens low)
-SpydieTalk.com Lanyard
-Chapstick (Blue is the best)
-Samsung Captivate
-Bic Lighter
-Keys to 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T
-Spyderco Grasshopper
-Spyderco Manix II, Foliage Green, CTS XHP
-Spyderco Cat (Recent birthday gift from Caleb!)
-Pilot G-2 07 Pen (cheap enough to loose, better than most)

I was going back and forth over the Defender and the Backup. After messing around with Caleb's defender I knew I needed something. I work in an office all day and only two pockets so I felt that chances are I would use it more during the day at work than anything else. Especially if I don't plan on getting another one soon.

The Defender would destroy my dress pants. That is why I like the Backup, not much grip and very smooth. Bright enough to where I feel it is worthy. There wasn't much smaller of anything by Surefire that meet my stipulations. I wanted something over 100 lumens, super small, and ability to run more than 24 hours if need be. The Backup did just that. It gives about 37 hours on 5 lumens which I find would be acceptable if needed in situation where I HAD to have light for that long. The 100 lumens is also an acceptable amount of light when needed.

This doesn't mean I won't be buying the Defender though! Just had to go with something that would help with MY everyday needs. I will surely be picking up the Defender when the funds are right. I feel that it would be perfect to have with you if you were going some place that didn't allow a knife. Such as an airplane. Plus it's 200 lumens, we are men, the higher the number the more we want it.

Seeing that you already have something that is small for more everyday uses, I'd jump on the Defender. Make sure it is the E2D Defender with 200 lumens cause it just got upgraded from the 160.
Thanks for the review Mike! Sounds like it will suit my secondary needs perfectly. I am hoping to pick one up soon!
