Sage CF or Sage Ti
I've got one knife to put on the Christmas list and I really want a Sage. I've heard great things and I feel it is the perfect work/office knife since it sits so low in the pocket and has the wire clip. A little less noticeable and when you actually pull it out to use it, no one is really scared from what it seems. The real question is to get it with the CF or the Titanium. I'm torn between the two. I feel the CF may look a little better but having a Titanium knife would be just as sweet. Please help!

The CF Sage is super sweet. The liner is stainless and looks a little on the thin side but I am sure it's tough enough to take on the pressure load.
The Sage 2 with the RIL is perfect (at least the one I had - I say had bc it's still missing in the house somewhere). There was nothing I could find wrong with that knife. Lock up was super solid, released was like butter.
My advice - eventually get both. I would get the Sage 2 RIL first.

I love my CF Sage and really think it is an amazing knife in every way. The F&F is flawless as to be expected, and it's lightweight and razor sharp! I like the looks of it over the all Ti one myself. That being said it is merely personal preference and I have not seen or handled a Sage2 in person. For the money the Sage I is the way to go IMHO. I'm sure the Ti one will be around for a while and we will see price drops on it.
Plus I would think they would discontinue the Sage I before they do the Sage 2.
I agree with John on the fact of eventually getting both ;) That's my plan anyway! I would say get the Sage I first though. Just my thoughts.

Vic's advice is more practical.
I still can't find my damn sage 2. I am about to tear down the house and do some serious cleaning to see if I can locate it. I miss it dearly.
